In the course of the meeting, the Parties discussed dangerous situation in connection with recent actions of Russia in the Black Sea Basin.
According to Oleksandr Turchynov, no matter what, Ukraine “follows the way of restoration and stabilization.”
The Romanian Party expressed readiness to provide any possible assistance to Ukraine in protecting its territorial integrity and inviolability of its borders.
Apart from this, Titus Corlatean stressed that Romania supports the European choice of Ukraine.
“We welcome readiness to sign the political part of the Association Agreement,” he stressed, having added that Romania is ready to provide expert assistance to our state in settling conflict with Russia and will stand for liberalization of visa regime between Ukraine and the EU.
Following the results of the meeting, the Parties agreed to coordinate their actions connected with the issue of security in the region.
